It has been one year since we established our program aiming at analyzing, understanding and critiquing the media-society relations on domestic as well as global levels. In the mean time, we added “production” dimension to analysis and critique.

We have established strong partnerships with prominent media groups, research companies and NGOs. Our students who follow our non-thesis (project) track will spend one year of their studies in one of these institutions to realize a project toward their degrees. Those who are involved in thesis track are spending a semester either working in an NGO, doing research in a research company or taking courses in United Kingdom.

Our main goal is to render Media and Communication Systems MA Program into a center in which high quality academic work is produced while conveying it beyond the borders of academy, opening it to the world.

Our program, located in Santral Campus, offers rich international opportunities to our students through Laureate International Universities Network and extensive ERASMUS connections.
